My son was 5 when he drove his first tractor by himself with me walking beside it at a VERY slow speed. I too was 5 when I drove a tractor solo.
Sam now regulary drives the backhoe in the field for us when ditching at slow speeds and it is a goreat help moving to start a new string.
He also loves every minute of it and begs for more time.
