Michigan | Lets put it this way, when you hit a very large stone, instead of riding over top and bouncing out of the ground, the stone rolls out on top of the ground. I would say that the 4800 is between a ripper and chisel plow. If we had something big enough to pull it, and could run it all the way down it gets into the subsoil. I think it does a really good job. The disk on the front don't really do a very good job IMO. They are there to cut the corn stalks, but are straight blades, that should be angled and dished, then I think they would be good. | |
