Farm 80 acres forever -close to 40 years-gave it up today-was running the combine and just didn't care-My wife and myself own it-Told my son tonight he can buy it or rent it-just lost interest in the farm at about 20 acres of corn left-weirdest dang thing that ever happened to me,
You sold/rented your son a farm and you're feeling strange about "giving it up"? Scratching my head here. Would you call yourself a control freak LOL?

I hire stuff out because my day job pays better than me doing those jobs. It feels strange having somebody else do some of my farming while I’m working. Nothing about control. It’s about a change of previous continuity, breaking the habits associated with said piece of ground. Nothing controlling about it. My hat’s off to Garvo.
