Farm 80 acres forever -close to 40 years-gave it up today-was running the combine and just didn't care-My wife and myself own it-Told my son tonight he can buy it or rent it-just lost interest in the farm at about 20 acres of corn left-weirdest dang thing that ever happened to me, Sorry to post on stock talk-about the only place I post I guess- Told Adam its my last crop on that farm. Have a great harvest guys-and be careful-TWICE!
Garvo, how old is Adam? I'm 23 and had the opportunity to buy into the family operation this spring- land contract- 100 acres and the livestock operation. It's a great feeling to own something, yet a little unsettling knowing it's now MY ass on the line of things don't go well.
