Middle Tennessee | Not sure of your age but do suspect the work load is getting to be more than you want to tackle on a daily basis. I too have the same thoughts as I bottle feed the calf that the heifer won't take, trying to come up with a plan to get the hay wrapped prior to the next rain and getting family out of the rehab center/ nursing home. I find it difficult to let go or even down size as it take X dollars to make the old pony trot. I find I am patching more equipment rather than repairing, Looking at the huge tree on the fence thinking it has cows blocked for a few more years and missing my weaning windows . I know that there are 24 hours in a day and when I was young I could get it done in 12 -14 now it takes 26 hours to accomplish the same task. As my 93 year old dad says there are not enough hours in the day any more. Suspect a lot of us will soon be following in your footsteps.
