| What about.....
Take 2 lengths of box tube ( 2" OD, 3/16" wall ) that span the width side ways ( door side to the opposite ), but make long enough to stick past the back side the width of your augermate cradle.
The box tubes could have flat or angle stock welded to the box tubes with 2 holes each and then bolt the box tubes to the underside of the wooden runners, so a total of 8 bolts to fasten to the wood.
Now get some 2 1/2" OD 3/16" wall box tube and weld or u bolt these to your augermate cradle to the same spacing apart that you bolted the cross tubes. The cradle will then slide / telescope over the under support tubes, and make for easy removal for service or to be used on another application. You could pin it by drilling thru holes thru the 2 1/2 and the 2" tubes or bolt it, or whatever.
The cross tubes would add a little more strength, but....will not allow the wagon to flex / twist as much, say like when going thru an elevated turn or small gutter ditch...but I think you are pretty flat, like up here.
just an idear...
