SE SD | We make all our own hay too.
I think back to the days of $300 bucks a ton.
No way would I want to buy hay in the lean years.
I may get laughed at for holding over a years supply of hay.... But to
me, it's money in the bank.
Keep doing what your doing.....it got you to where your at :)
JMO, and I happen to be an expert on my opinion :) lol
Edit to add. I think you could throw the same senerio of numbers on
Corn or Soybeans right now. It might draw a guy to the conclusion he
should sell his planter and combine. :)
Cheaper to buy in town than raise :)
