Swaledale, IA | The equipment you own does not cost near as much to keep around as if you are making payments. Problem with buying all your hay needs is you are at the mercy of the market. Do you do any custom work with your equipment. I guess to me mainly it comes down to do you like baling hay in the summer or not. I like to run baler through the summer and pick up lots of small fields once in a while but I do not have full time off the farm job either. I would rather bale hay than work for someone else. | |
