What I expect prices to do logically, and what they will actually do tend to be two separate entities.  But locally, yes, I expect prices to go up.  I also expect we will be importing cheap corn and putting a damper on prices, if there is enough rail capacity left.  

The real puzzling one is canola.  Almost no canola is off in the areas affected, and the areas who were able to have combined canola would be in many places the lightest yields in drier areas.  

I am straight west of Red Deer about as far as you can go west.  Roughly midway between Edmonton and Calgary.
