Bye the way, last spring my 1976 IH 986 broke a piston pin with 4500 hrs ( I am the second owner and am sure that the tractor never has been abused and always been maintained very well), should I go to the dealer and start complaining? Do you think I have a good case to sue? Or maybe I should just start bashing IH tractors?
No but I bet if you took it to the dealer for some engine work, noticed a problem with it and took it back to the dealer and they said you needed a radiator cap, then you had something major happen shortly after I suspect you would be a little concerned. |
