I went with the 830 because I thought I had to have a center pivot. Cutter bar is very rugged. Machine is well built and mechanically I haven't had trouble.
my biggest gripe is all the universals on the drive line. What a pain to grease. That said, the 630 has a simpler design using the same cutter bar.
If I did it over again I'd get the 630, or a 2 point hitch 830.
