Beresford, SD | Just got in, made about 500 idiot cubes out of some new seeding 3rd cut. Chopped 150 acres of 4th old stand. Weather is awesome. Gonna make hopefully a 1000 squares more tomorrow night, had to quit tonight when bales got over 125#. Beautiful evening here after a hot windy summer type day. Round up the balance Monday am, up to 3" of rain coming mid next week. Cows are gonna be making some serious milk when calving. Dynamite type hay. Down to 200 acres of earlage and 40 acres of sorguhm and the chopper will be put away till next year. Corn is 1/4 milk line.....waiting for black layer.
