Subject: Question for Guys feeding Holsteins

whitehall maryland
This is my first turn of holsteins I ama novice with these critters there a bit different than my colored cattle. I’ve got about 390 on feed high energy calf fed diet , been here 130 days , implanted 60 days ago with synovex choice , over the last week they have started riding each other pretty aggressively , it’s resulted in a couple of injuries and two deaths , this evening I sorted off half a dozen with ride marks , there a pretty uniform group average 600-700 lbs , the ones being ridden aren’t the smaller or weaker ones in fact it’s a few of the top end. There sorted in three pens . Two pens have had issues one pen none. I thought I had a couple stags when they went through the chute but they are both in the pen with no problems nor do I see them ride anyone . Feed man said we could try feeding Integra but it’s he says it’s spendy and no gaursntees, steers don’t look bullish no bellering just simple Holstein antics other than this. Any advice would be appreciated
