Lincoln County. NC | And I’m maybe an hour west of Hyde and am only now getting our first steady rain Saturday evening. Our daughter and grandkids are here from New Bern, it’s rough out there. Schools are closed all next week and large sections of I40 and RT70 are closed as well as a section of I95. The rains haven’t started yet in the mountains and when that runoff gets added to the rivers flowing through the foothills and Piedmont to the coast it will add to the obscene amount of water that is already there.
