Subject: Getting hay dry

Amherst WI
A neighbor who has 3 NH 166 inverters came over with two of them today to help dry some hay out. It’s the middle of September and to get dry hay now is a miracle in itself.

But it seems like often we rake hay with the V rake and then have to tip it because it’s wet underneath from the wet soil or was raked with too much dew.

I’m tempted to buy one or two of these inverters unless Agtalk has a better way. What we do now is the following....

Cut with JD 946 discbine, then rake two windrows together with Kuhn SR112 V rake.

I’m sure there’s a better way but hopefully it doesn’t cost a fortune.
