If your 9250 has the welded hitch, I think I would look switching it to the bolt together style. Just a matter of time until it breaks IMO. Then I would remove the hammer strap when using the cart. When pulling the cart use a 1 and 1/2 inch bolt with a locknut instead of a hitch pin. Tighten the nut against the bottom of the clevis on the cart. This will use the bottom part of the clevis to support the top half and prevent it from bending. I have seen eyelets and unsupported clevises bent from hitch weight.
