| "My wife noticed a vibration and took it in to the dealer. She tells me they test drove it and told her she needed spark plugs and wires!"
Can't help with your current situation, but that statement brings up bad thoughts about dealer and age/sexual discrimination/exploitation. Was in Vegas years ago with folks (who used to winter close to there). His 90'ish S-10 blazer had a U-joint going out - squeaking, vibrating, etc... Didn't have tools/parts source so took it to BIG GM/Chevy dealer, did a test drive with mechanic in rear seat. Said it needed new exhaust system for $2000+. I called his bluff and told him to look at the u-joint. Thought they were old enough and I was from the city and didn't know s$$$.
