Eastern South Dakota | I'm in my third year of planting some non GMO corn. So far two of the years the vt2 outyielded the same conventional varitey by 8 bushels and 3 bushels and then the conventional won by 8 bushels the other. 10 oz of generic bifenthrin in furrow will do a decent job controlling corn borer and rootworm pressure. I have noticed that the late season plant health on the conventional is better. It stays greener but it obviously doesn't correlate to a higher yield but my pocket definitely has more green in it from planting the conventional. | |
