Bt corn is an insurance policy to corn borer and in some cases corn ear worm. That’s it. If you don’t have Insect pressure and it’s the exact same genetics, it’s a coin flip.
Where I’m from, we plant all VT2 corn. If corn borer are an issue, it can be a matter of 100 bpa difference.
