NW South Dakota | About a year ago Dr. put me on a statin within a month I had severe muscle aches and no energy. I quit taking it for a couple days and almost immediately felt way better. Dr. then put me on a put me on a different statin with same results.
The Dr then suggested a different path. I now take 4 Red Yeast Rice capsules and 4 Fish Oil pills along with a CoQ10 pill daily ...............good cholesterol is up, bad cholesterol is down, albeit not as quickly as a prescription statin drug. I get all three at Sams Club. Seems to be the best price for both around here. Sadly this "natural" remedy is more expensive than a statin prescription.
