That's BS.

The guy paying higher rent wins every time. I don't care what his equipment looks like, pony up an extra $50/acre and see what happens. I'm sorry, but that story doesn't hold any water with me. When I first bought ground when I was 20 something, I couldn't afford to farm it myself, so I rented to whoever could make me the most money. Now, I'm on the other side of the equation. I can't fault anyone for doing the same.


it's those same guys that are paying the high rent. also enough people have been burned around here that they don't just immediately jump when someone comes offering more
