South Central MN | When I was in seventh grade, I BEGGED my parents to let me work. I loaded chickens into crates on a semi from 7am until about 5pm. I hated it and wanted to quit, but couldn't ask because I had begged for the job. I was happy when we moved. Other than that, I waitressed, worked for an insurance company, a hearing aid manufacturing company (hated it), as a nursing assistant (very good experience), and for over 30 years as a dental assistant until the end of 2015 when I started helping more on our farm. Mostly I do the farm bookkeeping, grain carting, and I'm the "rock specialist" in spring. | |
