Several years ago, I was in the JD dealership a little after 7:00 A.M.
The parts manager was looking up my parts when another customer walked in. He picked something off a shelf, held it up and said: "put this on my bill", and walked out.
The manager said the customer had wanted parts and called him on a Sunday when he (manager) was at a family reunion, and then didn't even thank him for coming in.
He also said the guy usually complained about how much cheaper he could buy parts online.
"You think they would get him the parts on a Sunday?". Maybe not a direct quote, but the general idea. | |
