Hey,

This could be any number of problems. I'm aware of a few things that it could be.

1. Have you tried a second ... or third blank CD??? Sometimes' "blank" cd's dont actually show up as "blank" when you pop them into the burner. Therefore an error would pop up similar to what you are seeing. Try several CD's and see what happens.

2. CD drives by default only allow administrators access to burning and reading CD's. If you are not logged in as the administrator the CD may not work for you. Even if you're logged on as admin, something may have gone whacky causing you not to be able to burn anymore. To check/fix this try this ...
Go to frogaspi.org and download their little cdRom rights program (or just click HERE to download the correct file)
Once downloaded, run the program and it will change any and all access rights that might be blocking you from burning to your CD.

3. The right's associated with your source destination, (the microsoft money (.mny) file/folder) might be keeping you from copying it to the CD. If you need help checking this, post back and I'll try walking you through it. One way to easily check this would be ... within Windows Explorer, try copying the .mny file from it's original location to your desktop ... if you can do that then there should be no problems with this.

Let us know what you come up with ...

 Casey
