I like the black rubber with the steel reinforcement spiral.

One year about 15 years ago, I had no money to buy a new hose. I remembered one stored in the haymow of our barn and tried it out. Shortened it a bit to get rid of a kink. No problems. Been using it every year and I plan to use again this summer ... it is probably at least 40 - 45 years old. Lately only use it for water.

The Enforcer looks good too. I may try that type sometime, if it is not as heavy.
