No doubt they are real problems, but that doesn't entitle them to rent above market rate. On the other hand, market rate can be higher than the farmer can make a profit. Catch 22, sometimes nobody wins.


Being the owner entitles them to set the price anywhere they want. It's up to renters to decide if it works for them. If not, walk away. They'll either rent it at their price, drop the asking price, or sit on it.
