the deer eat 3 acres don't they? if not, count you blessings.

I have a 5 acre plot that is 5 miles away, it’s two fields tree lined on both, deer play in it, has 2 wet spots that can mess with planting or spraying.

There is one good acre good productive dirt, 2 acres not bad if the deer don’t wreck it and it’s not too wet a year, and 2 acres the trees take away any crop to shade and moisture robbing wasted seed and spray to keep the brush back.

I figure if I get it for free and can limit myself to 6 trips or less I can break even........ some years it makes me a little, then a loser like this year will be.

Paul

So....why do it??
