N FLA | Peanuts go to buying points with warehouses. They store them in shell in steel buildings on concrete floor. Basically at that point the sheller has control of them and can shell them when ready. The industry shells about 200k tons per month so they just gradually work through the national crop. The national crop is about 2.7m tons but varies year to year.
