My planter sometimes does the same thing. Im using rate controllers for herbicide and fertilizer. I have a minimum flow rate setup for my herbicide to maintain psi at the end of field when I slow down.

It seems to have to do with that higher than needed flow just at the end of the field, perhaps outside the field boundry? do you have a field boundry setup?

I agree its annoying.
