N FLA | Alot of people bale peanut vines. This operation just turns them back in the dirt. A guy could turn cows out on them. It would work better if these farms had decent pens or even a lane to crowd them into a temporary pen. The fenced land will get a good grazing cover crop planted and should make good grazing from December 15 to April 1.
We will plow in the weed patch my cows are on and I will have winter grazing there. I am stockpiling my pastures so I have feed from November 1 to January 1. | |
