Subject: RE: John Deere Track tractor reliability

ND
I use to sell Deere before 2007 & the 00T, 10T & 20T on the con side ride rough on the road but in the fields are good, but the T's had more power to the ground than the MFWD at the time -when the ILS came it maybe changed it but the regular MFWD was not as good as a pulling tractor. A 8400T in tillage could pull a 44' field cult where as a non ILS MFWD could do a 38' or the 8400T could pull a 32' Krause heavy tandem in the ground at 5 mph. It was a Love -Hate type tractor which certain farmers always Loved them & others did not, a few traded them only to buy another one back. For lighter duties of planting, spraying seems to be the spot now but they will pull like even a 7 shank v-ripper quite well but in certain circles I guess not as good as the OL 4440.
