Subject: RE: John Deere Track tractor reliability

NW Illinois
We had an 8300t and 8400t. We went back to mfwd tractors because of rough ride and slow road speeds. We have gone back to 8335rt's and really like them. Much better ride acceptable road speeds. We use them for our planters, in crop sprayers, side dressers, and grain cart. We really like them for row crop work. We have 2600 hours on them and no major issues. There are spacers available for the bogey wheels that space them out about 3/16 of an inch. I highly recommend them as it will eliminate bogey wheel issues that develope from friction and or heat during road travel.
