14 gauge steel wire on perimeter and 9 strand poly wire for separating paddocks.
It helps to do a lineman splice (think thats the correct term) on the steel wire.... easier to roll up.
Use square knots on the poly, quick and easy, doesnt usually catch on much winding up.
