eastern south central KS | While the northern lights can be seen year around in Iceland, the season of greatest likelihood is Oct.- Apr. We were there two years ago and managed to see them briefly but were dealing with a lot of clouds. This was in southern Iceland in late Oct.
I would say northern Canada or Alaska is your best bet. Make Iceland a vacation destination at some point and go for the tremendous waterfalls. The northern lights would be a bonus. | |
