Had the annual museum day with the customary gathering of old cars for show and shine last Saturday. It hit over 100 degrees so I left the Merc at home thinking the heat might be a bit much for the old flathead. The Chevy II made the trip just fine although 13 miles of dusty gravel roads meant I needed to spend an hour washing off bugs and road dust when I arrived at the show.
