Kindersley Sk. | All they are doing is allowing the competition to gain market share. Short term gain for long term pain. If I were an investor I'd be questioning management's priorities.
Personally I have a few abandoned oil wells on my land that pass right through the Prairie Evaporite Potash seam. I've been wondering if a guy re-perforated those holes at that formation how easily a small solution mine would work. How much more involved would it be than pumping water down and the salts back up. But then there is the nasty Sodium to get rid of.... Always a fly in the ointment.
But it goes to show how innovative people think when an opportunity like $900/tonne potash comes along. There are smarter and more ambitious people than me dreaming up ways to get around Canpotex's Monopoly. POT should re-examine it's strategy. | |
