It depends on how you are going to use it. For lots of pallet work self leveling would be nice. I'm mainly moving hay bales with mine and figured I was better off with more lifting capacity and $2k still in the bank. I have 2 other self leveling loaders and don't really see their benefit. The tractor my 4709 replaced didn't have a self leveling loader either.
