Coldwater, Michigan | Michigan: Doubt anyone will be taking anything again this year. About 10 years ago during our last Democrat Governor's reign of terror our Lower Michigan State Fair was closed because the costs associated with it were too high. Her reign was ruining in many ways for the state. If I remember correctly the upper Peninsula continued to have their Michigan State Fair. Our State Fair was there a long time and was interesting.
The Indiana State Fair that I grew up with and have visited at different times in recent years, is so far ahead of what we had on the edge of Detroit that it is difficult to make a comparison between the two fairs.
