| None of my tractors have radios, and many of my vehicle radios are not the best anymore. I do have a couple of Makita worksite radios that use the same battery as the power tools. The black 14.4V batter will last most of the day in the radio, longer than the orange batteries.
In the morning I like the news and market reports on the local AM station. In the afternoon if I am so inclined there is the Jim Thompson show, Agri-Talk, and Derry Brownfield.
Otherwise the Makita radio has some preset buttons I have set on 3 country FM stations and 2 classic rock stations. The Makita also has a seek/scan feature. | |
