West Texas | I once got a 2wd 4430, a Case 4WD, and a bulldozer stuck all on the same day, all within 50' of each other. To be fair, though, I only drove the 4430, but that's where it started. The 4wd and the dozer sank in trying to pull me out, mostly because the drivers wouldn't heed my warnings of quicksand. The second dozer operator had some sense, and proceeded to pull everybody out quickly and promptly, the exact way I was gonna do it myself.
Got stuck a few more times after that, but nothing on that scale.
My personal knack seems to have to do with air, or the lack of it, in tires. And it always seems to happen when it'll cause me the maximum inconvenience. | |
