I ran the baler today with the new valve and the old one had problems. With the old one I could get the gauge to go to 2:00 but only in heavy hay and then it would back off to 10:00 or 11:00. It would also creep down to around there when tying. This new valve goes to 2 and does not move until I let the bale out and then goes to zero where the old one didn't go all the way down. It has the original belts on it and I wonder if they could be the problem now? It is a 96 model baler and the belts could sure be replaced but they are not causing any problems so I run them.
