My best steers weigh 600 at 8 to 9 months. Seems like I can average 525 on steers. I don't know about heifers as I haven't really sold many the last 3 years.

There are so many 300-400# calves going through the markets. But people believe that's a sweet spot on price and they don't want the cow losing weight with a big calf at her side. I couldn't guess what average is here.
