It's a half section. North quarter is unfertilized running 1.5 ton/acre. South quarter got 2,500 gal hog slurry and is a monster - too much fertility. Live and learn. 2,500 gal is as low as I can go with the manure pump and bar.
I'll take another cut in what looks like 20 days and evaluate what next. I'd like to no till a winter cover in eventually.
