 Gettysburg, PA | Gotta say that you make a very good point. Harvest might sound too harsh for some and sacrifice, IMO, puts a human quality to an animal that it shouldn't/doesn't have. That animal did not make a choice. That being said, certainly appreciating the fact that one has good meat to sell to others isn't a bad thing. Thanking the animal prior to slaughter though seems absolutely silly to me. But, hey, if that makes the consumer feel better..... |
