| Here is a true story about two farmers that had a similar dispute building up.
The one farmer walked into a lawyer’s office and explained the problem and asked if the lawyer could represent him in trying to resolve the problem. The lawyer said that he could not help him because his neighbor had hired him a couple of days earlier. The lawyer then gave the farmer the name of another lawyer that could represent him, then he wrote a quick note, sealed it in an envelope and told the farmer to give the note to the lawyer he had recommended. On the way to the second lawyer the farmer got curious as to what the note said and so he opened it and read.
“I’ve come upon two fat geese. You pluck one and I’ll pluck the other.”
The farmer turned around and went to talk with his neighbor showed him the note and the two of them soon worked out their differences.
I hope you can work this out. I agree with the idea of getting as much documentation done now as others have suggested (pictures, video….).
