I use a sweep. Not sure what you mean by a power sweep. I put mine in and take it out and use it in both bins. Don't know how deep your beans are, but I have also poked a 3/4" PVC pipe down through the grain and have broken up clumps of grain in the past that way. The PVC will not damage your auger like a metal pipe will.
