I went and looked at the fields. Still very green in low areas and other areas yellowing quite a bit. I grabbed some with some with some fairly ripe pods and shook and beat and hardly lost a pea.....which means I think it will go through the flail conditioner without too much loss. I agreeeI think most the peas will end up in the bale. I won't try raking 2 to 1 I don't think.
The only bad I see is if I cut a filed and the wind came up. ..... those swaths could be rolled for miles.?


With a good wind you might never find them or you will be pealing the stuff of the fence row.
It makes a great feed but I would get at her real quick!!! The longer you wait the poorer the hard hit stuff will be!
