It has been mentioned several times in this thread that we cannot compete with wages from overseas. In all reality, in our product line, we do quite well. Our average output per employee far exceeds most of the importers output per employee due to the company's willingness to invest in the process improvements. What hurts us most is the added taxes we pay that most importers do not. These taxes include the cost for EPA, OSHA, and other federal rules we must abide by. I'm not saying these are not good rules, rather we have to abide by them and our competition does not.
