Good point on the safety thing. Our safety rules, at my plant, often make things much more dangerous for the maintenance department. But we, maintenance, are such a minority I think a union might make that worse. If you really look deeply at corporate safety policys of some big companies they are obviously in place to reduce the companies liability and not to keep workers safe.
Do Union Dues make economic sense?
