b, on a 6 row 30" (15 ft) machine you may be able to get by without the parallel linkage if you land is reasonably flat. Where we really started seeing major inconsistencies and quit was at 12 R 30. If the parts are there I would certainly give it a try.

A good philosophy in this type of situation: "Don't bet the farm on anything without a small scale test run first."
